Maytag MVW6500MBK 28 Inch Pet Pro Top Load Washer

The Maytag MVW6500MBK is a top-load washer built specifically with pet owners in mind. The Pet Pro system includes a dedicated wash option and a specialized filter designed to capture pet hair during the wash cycle — preventing it from redepositing on clothes and clogging the drain. For Kansas City households with dogs, cats, or other shedding pets, this addresses a real laundry problem that standard washers leave unresolved.

At 4.7 cu. ft. of capacity, it handles full family loads including bedding, pet blankets, and the kind of bulky items that accumulate in a pet household. Advanced Vibration Control reduces noise and machine movement during high-speed spin cycles, which matters in laundry rooms near living areas. Auto Sensing detects the size of the load and adjusts water usage accordingly, and Deep Fill provides more water when you want it for particularly soiled loads.

Twelve wash cycle options give you flexibility across fabric types and soil levels. Maytag's 10-year limited parts warranty on the drive motor and wash basket backs up the durability this machine is built for.

The Maytag black finish is sharp and contemporary — a distinctive look for a laundry room that doesn't need to default to white.
